Should rape be overlooked ?

Rape : Rape is a term that originates from the Latin verb , rapere : to seize or take by force . It is defined by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) as the penetration , no matter how slight , of the vagina or anus with any body part or object penetration by a sex organ of another person , without the consent of the victim . Rape violates the rights of a person ( below the age of consent ) in the sense that it is an act against one's will . It leaves the victim with a feeling of shame , humiliation , confusion , feat and rage . Victims we cross-examined and shared their experience lamented over been defiled , unclean and no control for their lives.  My beloved people should we overlook rape or stand up for the cries of the innocent .
