Death of Geroge Floyd

Geroge Floyd , a 42- year old African - American man died in Powderhorn community of Minneapolis , Minnesota on May , 25 when a white officer , Derek Chauvin pressed his knee to Floyd`s neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed faced down .on the ground . Three police officers reserved him and prevented passerby from intervening . An ambulance was called to pick him up . Floyd had gone into full cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at the nearby hospital .

WHAT WAS HIS OFFENCE ?

Floyd was arrested for using counterfeit $ 20 bill at a market . Police said Floyd physically resisted arrest while other media organisations and bystanders said he didn`t .
